After a great high school career at Neenah High School, Jack played 4 years at UW-Milwaukee.  He batted .256 with 11 home runs, 52 RBI, 110 games played and a .994 fielding percentage as a catcher.  As a Senior, he led Milwaukee with a .386 on base percentage and .503 slugging percentage, as well as a team high 17 extra base hits.  Defensively, he totaled 220 putouts and 26 assists without an error, the most chances in the Horizon League without an error.  He also led the Horizon League with 13 runners caught stealing.  

At Neenah High School, Jack was a 4 sport athlete and 4 year varsity baseball member.  He was also an all conference hockey player and also played football and ran cross country.  His dad Jak, also played baseball at UW Milwaukee and was recently inducted into the schools Athletic Hall of Fame in 2018.
